Welcome to Chookscratch. My name is Daniel. Chookscratch is a showcase of my writing. Once a throwaway description of my handwriting by a school teacher many years ago, Chookscratch is now home to articles written with a little more care.
I have an innate desire to write but I also suffer from indulging in too many hobbies and interests. Consuming the spare hours of my day are my wife, children, technology, martial arts, motorcycle riding, homebrew, reading, and admiring stationery.
When I'm not writing about the things I love and enjoy, I'm slowly stringing together words for the chapters of my first novel.
